Host Sandy: Hey Kj welcome to iSurv1vor Live! Are you surprised to be here?
Kj: Hey Sandy. Nothing surprises me in this game! Disappointed? Yeah...
Host Sandy: How does it feel now being out of the game a few hours?
Kj: Well, I sure have alot more time to get my work done! LOL
Host Sandy: Haha I'm sure! I do too actually now that we're wrapping up. How did you enjoy your time in the game? What was the highlight of your 37 days?
Kj: I absolutely loved my time in this game. There were some rough spots that drove me absolutely crazy, but for the most part it was challenging and very enjoyable. The highlight of my 37 days was winning winning back to back immunities. That was such an awesome feeling.
Host Sandy: Those back to back wins were impressive! How did it feel to have made it so far?
Kj: Well, I am very proud of making it to the F3 before my time in the game was up. My pre-game alliances were voted out fairly quickly, so I had to figure out what to do. Darcy and I did have a great alliance as you will see in my confessionals, so that was where I drew my strength.
Host Sandy: Yeah you two became pretty close right after the Reversal. What was the most negative experience out there?
Kj: My most negative experience was reading comments made about me from Taylor, Keisha and Darcy. Some of what was said was amazingly hurtful.
Host Sandy: I'm so sorry Kj. Some people get angry towards the end of the game. After a week or so after the game people 'usually' warm up and get over things. What do you think of the final 2 castaways?
Kj: Kenyon is a sweetheart. I have nothing bad to say about him. He's HOTT, he's fun, he's caring and opens up easily. Although, he should have taken me to the F2!
Christina is an amazing player. You don't have to like her, and I know alot of people don't, but my personal experience with Christina was nothing but positive. We talked game, we talked life, we flirted with Kenyon and you Sandy. I learned alot about strategy from her. You don't come into the game to get friends. Sure, you may leave with some and that's great, but it's NOT the reason why we play.
Host Sandy: That's great to hear. Yes, Christina, Kenyon, and I became really great friends through this game. You and I previously knew each other but our friendship definitely grew. Thanks for being a part of it all! How does it feel to be part of the jury?
Kj: Well, I'm not really "a part' of the jury. Nobody has said hello to me or welcomed me the way everyone else was. Although Bridget did show dismay at seeing me there. Sweet Bridget.
Host Sandy: That's unfortunate Kj. I feel bad. So now lets think back to the beginning of the game..how did it feel when u were selected to play?
Kj: When I found I had been selected to play in Cambodia i was sooooooo stoked! I couldn't wait to begin! it was an amazing feeling...
Thank you for the opportunity to experience Survivor other than on Facebook. I will forever be grateful.
Host Sandy: That is great to hear! That is exactly what I wanted to do for facebook people! Have them experience a game off Facebook, where you didn't know every single person, on a forum. I'm glad it was a different and enjoyable experience for you. However almost all the facebook people got eliminated early besides you and Keisha so well done. What did you think of the original Phkaloum tribe? What are your thoughts on the guys vs girls start?
Kj: I never really like it when it's gender based tribes. but I did like Darcy, Alicia, Bridget and Jia a lot from the beginning.
Host Sandy: How was it working with Von as a secret partner? What did you think of the twist?
Kj: Well Von wasn't only a secret partner, he was a "silent partner". LOL He was in the process of moving to Dublin and he was voted out quickly, so our "partnership" didn't last very long.
I thought it was a really kewl twist though, if he could have stayed till the merge.
Host Sandy: Now that it's all said and done, casting Von while he was about to move prolly wasn't the smartest move on my part. What did you think of the kidnapping twist?
Kj: Well, that sure did add a dynamic to the game that was hard to factor into your strategic plans. I personally wasn't kidnapped, but I think that is why Christina has done as well as she has.
Host Sandy: I completely agree. That first kidnap did set Christina up for success in the game. What did you think of the challenges in Cambodia?
Kj: I thought the challenges were very good. Very creative and varied, so most people would have a chance to win if they actually participated. I especially like the challenge where you had to answer a question to unlock the challenge. I thought that one was absolutely brilliant. A lot of the challenges on FaceBook were flash games and that gets really old, so i for one was thrilled with the challenges here in Cambodia.
Host Sandy:: Woohoo! Is there any person in the game who you think got screwed, or were the people before you rightfully voted out?
Kj: The only person I believe that is on the jury that got "screwed" really is Darcy. She deserved to stay longer than Michelle did because she is awesome at challenges (let's face it, she actually DID the challenges) and she was competitive. What I should have done, in hindsight was talk to Michelle and forced a tie between Christina and Darcy and let them "duke it out". Casey and Bridget got the short end of the stick as well I believe.
Host Sandy: Are you leaving this game with any lasting friendships, or was it all 'game' out there?
Kj: Well, I made a friend in Darcy and according to her, she has asked me never to speak to her again, so I guess not with her. Kenyon and Christina and I will talk outside of this game and actually are playing other games together currently. The friendships I came into the game with. . .are intact and doing well.
These are the people who really know me and have helped me with the mean comments about me.
Host Sandy: What are your thoughts on the whole Aroh and Travis quitting scandal?
Kj: Yeah, well, I cannot believe with all the people who "really wanted" to be in your game, these guys took that privilege and just pissed it away. It speaks of character and commitment actually. In life there are going to be people who make the rules and while you may/may not agree with them, you still have to abide by them ya know?
Host Sandy: Mhm. I agree. Tell me a little bit about the people who were voted out premerge, and who made the jury?
Kj: Dan - is an amazing friend and player. He is a huge threat and I was upset when he was voted out. Dan also warned me that Keisha flips on alliances at times, so I was cautious.
Alicia - We played together in the game I won, Canada. I love Alicia. She is sweet, smart and great at challenges. I think the game would have been much different had she stayed around longer. I didn't vote for her and she knows that.
We will be friends for a long time.
Kyle - a great pre-game alliance. I have played many games with Kyle on Facebook and he is great to have on your side. He made a stupid mistake and showed his hand too early in the game, which I'm still trying to figure out why..
Jia - I love Jia. We had some really great conversations before she was voted out. I think she would have done very very well had she stayed in the game.
Bridget - is amazing. I love her to death. I would trust her with my life, no questions asked. She is not nearly as "dumb" as she pretends to be!
Von - He is an amazing player when he is focused 100% on the game. I think with his move to Dublin, he really wasn't giving this game his all, which is unfortunate because a lot of people didn't get to know him very well.
Casey - Casey is so tenderhearted. He was so upset by the discord that happened when Taylor threw the challenge. I felt so bad for him. We have talked several times in the game and I feel like we are friends. He is an incredibly smart young guy. He will do well in these games if he can not be too emotionally involved and doesn't trust everyone at face value.
Keisha - well, what can i say. She was pissed when she got voted off, but she lied to me and about Darcy. We were smart enough to know we need to eliminate her for more than one reason. Keisha was too good at challenges to have around and not be sure of her alliance with us. She believes our conversation we had prior to her vote off was bullnuts, but I know it wasn't. Regardless, I won't go back to "targeting" Keisha in other games. It's unfortunate she is bitter because i really like her.
Aroh - He is the person I got to know the least in the game. He approached me when he needed my vote but other than that, there wasn't much of a relationship at all. I hate that he quit..
Travis - I actually talked to Travis quite a bit, especially when he came to our tribe. He is a very smart guy. We continued talking after he went back to the guys tribe and we do still talk on AIM, although not about the game. It's unfortunate that he also felt the need to quit.
Taylor - Well, Taylor is colorful. He has been very vocal about his dislike/distrust of me. While i thought he was immature and obnoxious, i didn't lose respect for him until the threw the challenge. He is not trustworthy and will sell out his alliances the first chance he gets. He had deals going on everywhere. Well, once some of us starting talking and comparing notes...that's when he got voted off.
Darcy - She is an amazing player. She can think in angles I cannot even see and I respect her game play very much. She may think I am blowing "smoke up her skirt" and that's ok i guess. I know these are my real feeings and opinions. She could have won the game.
Host Sandy: What would you say was your greatest move/accomplishment in the game?
Kj: My greatest accomplishment was when I managed to get the votes twisted on Taylor. He wasn't the original vote, but after I showed Christina some communication from Taylor, it wasn't hard to convince Christina and Kenyon and Michelle to follow suit. Taylor is someone you love to hate, or love, but he is a poor sport and you can never get far in these games by throwing challenges. Ask those who play all the time...
Host Sandy: Tell me a bit about your last few days in the game, what went wrong?
Kj: Well, since I had back to back immunity, the only thing that went wrong was not winning the final immunity. I was really hoping for a different kind of final immunity myself. I thought the pole removing game was more like what we would have done earlier in the game. The 20 question challenge would have been an excellent Final 3 challenge. (No offense Sandy.
The challenge at F4 was amazing. We all knew it didn't matter who won, because the vote was Michelle. Now, some have said to me that I should have kept Michelle around, so that I could have taken her to the F2 because she would be easy to beat. I guess I think differently. I have been in the F3 position before and had to choose who I would take and i took the BEST. I want to win, but not against the worst player. I want to win against the best player.
Host Sandy: No offense taken. My initial challenge really fell through, so I had to use a safety challenge. Sorry it was underwhelming hun
. Oh and I know you had an AMAZING time during that final 4 challenge. You're amazing! lol. If you could so anything differently, what would it be and why? If no, why?
Kj: If I could redo anything, it would be to vote Christina instead of Michelle. This would have kept my relationship with Dacy intact. that is the only thing I would have done differently.
Host Sandy: Interesting. Hopefully that says something. To future castaways of this game - give them some advise having just went through your own iSurv1vor experience.
Kj: Well, just have fun. Work hard at the challenges, be a team player, size people up. If someone tells you someone said something, ask them to show you in writing. If they cannot they are lying.
Don't be a poor sport if you lose a challenge or the game. Oh, and did I say, "Have Fun!" (oh, and if you're playing with Kenyon, ask him to serve you up some of his "special coffee".
Host Sandy: Any last thoughts before we wrap this up?
Kj: I love you as a host Sandy.
you are awesome and when I was discouraged you encouraged me to continue and I appreciate that about you. Thank you for this game.
