Taylor
Voted out day 28
Mekong Tribe
The self-proclaimed Mekong King was booted in a vote of 4-1-1. By far one of the most entertaining castaways ever, Taylor survived twenty-eight days in Cambodia the only way he knew how - by being himself. Whether you loved him or loved to hate him, Taylor was most definitely a highlight this season. See what's on his mind when he visits iSurv1vor Live!
[/center]Host Sandy: Hey Taylor welcome to iSurv1vor Live!
Taylor: hey.. thx for having me, but I must say it isnt much of a pleasure being here.
Host Sandy: Why's that?
Taylor: haha well.... cuz if ur here that means ur voted out, and that rly isnt considered a good thing
Host Sandy: Haha I guess you're right. But you have to be proud of yourself. You lasted quite a long time and played a great game. How does it feel now, being out of the game and everything?
Taylor: I have to be honest. I am still pretty pissed off about being voted off. I was totally surprised. I honestly wish I knew what was going through Christina's head when she decided to write my name down. Either she was on crack or she is just a retard. She was pretty much guaranteed a spot in the finals if we went along with the previous plan. Like.. I am baffled... she is supposed to be smart. For sum1 in College.University, she's pretty stupid lol. I feel bad for her parents. I'm sure that if they knew how uselss she was gonan be, they woulda had an abortion
Host Sandy: Oh wow. Those are some pretty strong words? Are you upset she voted you out?
Taylor: actually I was very upset, still am. Not because I'm no longer competing to win... but because I thought we were great friends. I have a hard time making friends in real life, which rly sux... and when I started making friends in this game, I started to feel happy, which is kinda rare in my life. It got to the point where I didnt rly care about the game as much anymore. I just wanted to keep my friendships strong. During the last challenge, I even told her that I was willing to give away immunity just to help her.. because of our friendship. I wanted us 2 in the finals.. so yes I am upset . I actually had to hold back my tears to be honest she crushed my heart .
Host Sandy: That sounds pretty rough Taylor. But alas, you aren't the only one to have your torch snuffed in Cambodia. You'll have you chance to bite back with your jury question. How do you feel to have made the jury?
Taylor: I have to admit, making the jury is quite an accomplishment considering I was up against people who play these kinda games all the time, and who watch the show more than I do. This was my first ever ORG, and Ive only seen about half of the CBS seasons, so I am pretty proud of myself. I kinda expected to make it further though. I actually consider myself the guy who made it the furthest since Kenyon was previously voted out
Host Sandy: That's true. Out of the final 5 left in the game, who are you rooting for? Who will have a hard time facing the jury?
Taylor: Well.. there is only really 1 person I would consider voting for right now. The others I dont want to vote for if I dont have to, for various reasons. One of them was already previously voted out of the game, one of them is a heartless b!tch, one of them is completely useless and rode coattails the whole way through... and the other.. well, I dont have to worry bout that one, since she isnt going much further (would be stupid to take her any further) as for having a hard time tho. I would Say Christina is gonna have to endure sum tough questions from the jury she isnt playing a good social game actually she isnt even playing a good strategic game anymore she should just vote herself out and save time lol
Host Sandy: Haha, that's funny. So Taylor, take a look back on the begining of the game. How was it to be selected to play? What did you think of your all-male tribe and tribe mates?
Taylor: I was so excited to play. The first time I ever discovered one of these games, and I knew I had what it took to compete. I did everything I could to stand out just to be selected. Well I liked pretty much everyone in the guys tribe at first. Some of them ended up being @ssholes lol. It was an interesting twist though with the guys vs girls.
Host Sandy: What did you think of the kidnapping twist? It majorly affected you on day 6 when you were kidnapped to Phkaloum.
Taylor: The kidnapping twist was definately different. The weird thing about it is that the tribe with immunity actually ended up going down in numbers. It was kinda weird lol, but it added a new strategic aspect to the game. New twists that cant be forseen are always welcome . When I was captured on day 6, I wasnt too worried at all. I knew I could trust a few girls there. But once Jia got kidnapped, I started to feel worried. She was my main ally since Christina wasnt with the girls anymore. I had to quickly adapt and find new people that would stick with me. I used the power of charm and I guess they loved me although I cant really say using my charm was just strategy it is also just part of my personality haha.
Host Sandy: Haha the charm that had everyone on Phkaloum want to burn you at the stake when you threw that challenge?
Taylor: lol.. now that is one moment that definately stood out this season for me
Host Sandy: What was going through your head when you were throwing it, why did you do it?
Taylor: well....I really did still trust Aroh. He was my main ally. Once Darcy approached me saying that Aroh was plotting against me, and asked me to vote out Travis, I just thought Darcy was trying to give the girls the numbers. Because it was 3 guys and 3 girls at the time. I refused to believe Darcy. I was such good friends with Aroh that I thought he would never plot against me. I then threw the challenge asking him to kidnap me, knowing I wasnt in a good spot. But then he kidnapped Travis and put me in an even worse spot. It was a real eye opener. I had the worst feeling in my gut. I thought it was game over for me. As a last resort, I made a speach to the girls, telling them how about how I was raised, and saying the only reason I wuldnt believe them was because of how close me and Aroh were. I told them that I was on my own once Aroh abandoned me. I had no allies. I told them that we ned to work together to fight against the big alliance at Rbus. And I guess my speech workes. I made it to the merge
Host Sandy: That was the speech that made Darcy vote Bridget? and brought that Tribal Council into a Tie?
Taylor: I was raised to never backstab sum1 ur close with. Yeah.. I was worst enemies with Darcy for a while there we hated each others guts but then after my speech, Darcy befriended me again, and I told her she was right and I was sorry. I told her from now on I would trust her, and would always have her back she agreed to have mine and when Bridget refused to vote Kj, Darcy voted Bridget with me.. giving me a chance to take her out in a tie breaker. I expected a tie-breaker all along after Bridget refused to vote Kj.. I was kinda nervous lol and Darcy coulda easily voted me out. im glad she stayed true to her word
Host Sandy: And you almost lost that Tie Breaker.
Taylor: OMG I KNOW! I was sooo nervous. I was actually shaking. It was a best a series of mini challenges, best of 5 (first to 3): she won the first 2 I thought I was done. but I never give up, I never surrender, I never admit defeat, I ended up wnning 3 in a row
Host Sandy: Yeah so did I. You were cracking under pressure, but then you pulled it out at the end! It was pretty amazing.
Taylor: definately a highlight this season I think.
Host Sandy: For sure. How did it feel making the merge? After that crazy tie breaker..
Taylor: well, I was very relieved actually. cuz for a while before the merge, things deffinately werent going my way. I had to adapt every day. Once I got to the merge, it kinda felt like home free. I knew I was gonna be immune. I had a good feeling Kenyon was gonna be voted out giving me the numbers. Right at the merge, I felt like I had the ability to win this whole game. Then that Kenyon bastard came back haha. He was out for vengence
Host Sandy: Haha. I will agree you were best at adapting to new situations. I was impressed. We're getting to the Aroh and Travis quitting days.. What did you think of that whole meltdown?
Taylor: I thought it was pretty selfish of them. They ruined the game for everyone else just because things werent going their way. I would never quit a game over a challenge not going my way, or a friend being voted out. That just shows how weak those 2 were. They werent meant to play this game. I also heard that Aroh deleted all his confessionals. Thats just being retarded. I rly wanted to read those lol. Im sure he had sum interesting things written down that I woulda wanted to read it ruined the game but I htink u handled it well bringing back Kenyon wasnt a bad idea.. he is one of the factors of me being gone though but I'm over it now. Im not gonna complain.
Host Sandy: The outcast twist, did you have mixed emotions? And if Kenyon weren't there the vote would have been 3-1-1, but I understand the scenario would have been different lol. And things might have changed.
Taylor: well yeah I did have mixed emotions I didnt want to jump straight to final 7... but I also didnt think it was too fair to bring sum1 back into the game. Especially sum1 who was against me haha, so I dont rly know what I would have preferred I would have accepted it either way.. bringing sum1 back, or just advancing to F7. Im not like Aroh or Travis I wont tell you how to host ur game lol
Host Sandy: Haha. Yeah lmao. You're great Taylor.
Taylor: I know Im the greatest
Host Sandy: Haha. As I boot your ego.
Taylor: they dont call me the Mekong King for nothing (they as in me)
Host Sandy: I'm helping the growth of a monster haha.
Taylor: haha... quit feeding the monster u might make ppl hate me
Host Sandy: Oh I think you can handle that all on your own lol you don't need my help! Anyways, do you have some advice for future players of this game?
Taylor: well.... just take notes on how I played and ull win. actually... hm... the only advice I can think of is, try to make sure u know where everyone stands. I formed a lot of my alliances based on where I think others stand. I recruited Travis day 1 because he was on the chopping block, and knew he would be an easy recruit. its how I got rid of Dan and also try not to let ur emotions cloud ur judgement. Its what got me voted out.. well partly at least. it also had to do wit promising everyone the same thing haha.. I was kinda stupid towards the end in that department.
Host Sandy: Now that you mention that, what do you think your biggest mistake in the game was?
Taylor: some people would say that throwing the challenge was the biggest mistake, but to be honest, I think it helped me. People saw me as sum1 who was allied to everyone. Once I threw the challenge, and didnt get kidnapped. It showed everyone that I was in a horrible spot. I had no1. It made me an easy person to ally after that. People took advantage of it and I'm glad they did . That was my main goal in my speech... making sure they saw that I had nobody . Id say the worst mistake was probably refusing to vote Darcy last TC. Christina and Kenyon probably woulda trusted me and taken me further if I did that.I also think I woulda had a good shot at winning challenges after that too, but u never know. But Darcy was a friend. And I didnt wanna write her name down. thats the part where emotions cloded my judgement. I sacrificed myself to save her for only 1 round lol.
Host Sandy: Yeah, that makes you a good friend. And a risky Survivor player.
Taylor: risky is the way I play I wanted to be a memorable player, while making it far at the same time. It was my ultimate goal. I didnt want to be a Michelle who just rides coattails to get to her destination. I wanted to stand out in everyone's eyes and I think I did alright in that department
Host Sandy: And that you did Taylor! That and more. Any last words before we wrap this up?
Taylor: I want to say thank you to you and the alumni for wanting me to play this season. I would also like to thank my parents for having sex and making me. This is one of the funnest games I have ever played. You are a great host Sandy. I cant wait til the confessionals are open. SHould be interesting to read. Look out for me in iSurv1vor:All-Stars everyone
Host Sandy: Thanks Taylor for taking the time to apply, and being devoted to the game. You have been a memorable part of iSurv1vor 6. Thanks so so so so so much man! You have no idea!!!
Taylor: haha no problem. I want to continue to be a part of this game, by being a part of the alumni. I can cheer on sum new players.
Host Sandy: Of course!
